The entire Duckworth family was great, they all made me feel like I was home with them. The camps are amazingly beautiful and have everything you could need. The hunting is beyond belief, sometimes I had to remind myself that I was free range hunting with the amount of game we encountered daily. The first time I hunted Africa was with Gary Duckworth at Mokore. That's the good news. The bad news is it has made every other African hunt seem substandard. Mokore is a great place to hunt. Gary and Neil are as good a PH as there is an Africa. I am sure if Rambo ever gets kidnapped and is being held in the bush, They will be called to rescue him.

My wife Melissa and I first hunted with Mokore three years ago and again last year. I started hunting at about ten years of age, and with brief intermissions for school, have hunted all of my life. The time that we spent in Africa with you and your family are sentinel events in a life of hunting. Not only did we have great hunting, but we felt at the ends of these trips that we had made new friends with you and your family. In Richard Harland's great book, The Hunting Imperative, I learned that your dad started his career with Zimbabwe Game and Parks as a ranger at age 17. Last year in conversations with your mother Birdie, I learned that your family presence in Africa dates back to the Boer War and that you are 7 generations deep in Africa. It has been a special treat to have that insight coupled with your family's warm and generous hospitality in hunting camp.

I have never seen a stronger effort to make a hunting trip successful in every way than Mokore's and specifically your effort. Your observation that "the harder you work, the luckier you get" explains a lot of your success. I would tell anyone considering a hunt with Mokore that they absolutely could not be in better hands.
